Women’s Recovery Program

Restoring Dignity. Rebuilding Lives. Rekindling Hope.

  • At the Center for Rehabilitation and Reintegration – Liberia, we are excited to announce the full inclusion of women into our rehabilitation and recovery programs. Women affected by substance abuse often face deeper layers of trauma and stigma, and we are committed to creating a safe and supportive space for their healing.
  • Why Focus on Women?
  • Many of the women we serve have been struggling in silence—shunned by family, disconnected from their children, and without a reliable source of income. Most have used substances for longer periods than their male counterparts and require extended support to truly heal and reintegrate.
  • Key realities faced by our female clients include:
  • Longer substance abuse histories, requiring extended rehabilitation time. Broken family ties, with little to no outside support. Mothers separated from their children, experiencing guilt and emotional pain. No stable income, making independent living after rehab difficult
  • We believe every woman deserves a second chance—free of judgment, full of compassion.

  • Our Holistic Approach to Women’s Rehabilitation:
  • Our program is built to meet women where they are, helping them move from survival to recovery through a three-phase care model:
  • 1. Pre-Rehab Counseling (4 Weeks)
  • Individual and group therapy sessions
  • Emotional stabilization and readiness assessment
  • Orientation into rehab culture and peer support

  • 2. Residential Rehabilitation (3 Months)
  • Secure, women-centered residential facility, Daily individual counseling to address trauma and root causes of addiction. Group therapy focused on healing, identity, and rebuilding trust.

  • Vocational training in:
  • Baking & Pastry Arts
  • Soap & Clorox Production
  • 3. Aftercare & Outpatient Support
  • Weekly and bi-weekly counseling sessions

  • a. A dedicated social worker assigned to each graduate

  • b. Monthly in-person meetings (3x/month) to monitor progress

  • c. WhatsApp recovery group for daily check-ins, motivation, and peer connection

  • How We Recruit and Reach Women
  • To ensure women in need are aware of our program, we use:
  • Community outreach through clinics, churches, and women’s groups
  • Street engagement in high-risk communities
  • Peer referrals and recovery ambassador programs
  • Partnerships with local women-led organizations and shelters

  • Join Us in Changing Lives
  • The journey to recovery is hard—but no woman should walk it alone. Through compassion, structure, and community, we are helping women reclaim their dignity, reconnect with their families, and rebuild their futures.

  • Together, we can break the cycle of addiction and restore hope—one woman at a time.
